I have just had a nice conversation with my m8 from across the pond, Archi Ssan, we are working on the campaign for awareness of Child Abuse via Parental Alienation.
As you are aware, when parents get a divorce, they do not divorce their children, yet all too often our children are used by too many people as pawns in what ends up as Parental Alienation. One parent, all too often is alienated from their children, this campaign will focus on bringing about awareness to Parental Alienation and what we can do to bring about more awareness to affect a change.
We will be working on websites, facebook pages and other social media where you will be able to tell your story of Parental Alienation, not just too others within the group but to the entire world. This campaign will be held in the UK but it will be an International effort for all children all around the world.
We discussed how well the equally shared parenting is working in Sweden and more importantly how a country like Brazil has ratified a law that defines and punishes parental alienation as a form of child abuse. On the 26th of August 2010 the Brazilian Parliament ratified with immediate effect a law against parental alienation. The law defines parental alienation as a form of child abuse.
If the Brazilian government can recognize and rectify this matter, why is it that other countries within our Western Civilized society continue to ignore what I am certain is nothing less than an act of child abuse and I am also certain that if you have been alienated from your children, you too realize… This action is nothing less than an act of child abuse and it must be addressed and we must institute laws to protect our children immediately.
